One thing I see far too often? People only getting immigration advice after something has gone wrong.

Sometimes a conversation at the beginning can identify an issue before it becomes a much bigger problem.

If youโ€™re considering a visa application and youโ€™re not sure where you stand, get advice early.

๐Ÿ“ฉ Book a consultation and letโ€™s talk through your situation.

An important development and a strong reminder that migrant exploitation and illegal recruitment will not be tolerated in New Zealand.

For employers and migrants alike, using the correct immigration and recruitment processes matters. Cutting corners can have very serious consequences.

If you are unsure about your obligations, visa options, or the correct process to follow, get professional advice before taking the next step.

Noong 23 Marso 2026, naglabas ang Regional Trial Court Branch 27, Iloilo City ng Warrant of Arrest laban kay Robejes at dalawa pa niyang empleyado kaugnay ng People of the Philippines vs. Robejes, et al., na nakadocket bilang Criminal Case No. 26-96939.

Employers โ€” getting a Job Check approved is only part of the process.

When youโ€™ve found the person you want to hire, you still need to make sure they are suitable for the role and meet the requirements you set out in your Job Check.

Getting this wrong can cause problems when it comes time for their work visa application.

If youโ€™re unsure whether your preferred candidate meets the requirements, get advice before moving ahead.

Does your partnership evidence tell the full story?

When applying for a partnership-based visa, having plenty of documents does not necessarily mean your application clearly demonstrates your relationship.

The type of evidence, the period it covers, and how it fits together can all matter. Every coupleโ€™s circumstances are different, particularly when finances, accommodation, or time spent living together have not been straightforward.

Getting advice early can help you understand whether your evidence presents a clear and consistent picture before your application is submitted.

Unsure about the evidence you have? Contact Delia to discuss your circumstances.

This information is general in nature and is not personalised immigration advice. Immigration settings can change, and individual circumstances differ.
