Submissions on the September tax bill are now being accepted: https://bills.parliament.nz/v/6/ae9d3517-66d6-4a30-c155-08df0eed0d02?lang=en&Tab=history. A submission on this bill would be a good opportunity to ask for the $100,000 cap on donations tax credits to be removed. We have prepared a draft bill to that effect and would be happy to share a copy if that might be of interest. No deadline for submissions has been given but I have heard a rumour that we should take the deadline as 4 November - I can't confirm that date, but when bills get reinstated after a general election submissions can get lost in the process so it would likely be a good date to work to.
