Spring is only 4 weeks away so if you’re thinking of being in a new home by Christmas, now’s the time to finalise your home to go on the market ☺️

As a real estate salesperson who sold my first home in Spring a few years ago, I thought I had it all sorted. I thought I knew all the ‘ins and outs’ of getting a good result.

While we did get some things right, I made one crucial mistake which cost us time and stress.

If you personally know someone who you can trust to sell what’s likely to be your biggest asset, great! I would choose someone who I trust over a ‘local agent’ any day.

If you don’t and am going in blind needing to ‘interview’ multiple agents, DM ‘AGENT’ and I’ll send through a short list of questions I wish I had asked before choosing!

Well technically 2 someones now 😅

The last week was absolutely magical making memories with our wee ones. Couldn’t have asked for a better week off, now back into it…!

When we sold our first home it was so bittersweet, we LOVED it when it was just the 2 of us.

That was the home we started our marriage in, brought our first child home to, and saved everything we had and sacrificed so many weekends to fully renovate.

But over 2 years into our family home, we absolutely have no regrets!

We were prepared to make a sideway step house wise so that we could be in a more family-friendly suburb, which is why I can hand-on-heart back what I’ve said here.

In my humble opinion, where you go matters just as much as what you’ll be moving into.
Change can be scary but so so worth it!
