Langley Twigg is the longest-established law firm in Hawke's Bay and is able to trace its Napier origins back to 1864. Today it is also one of the largest, with five Partners and over 20 members of staff, including seven solicitors and four legal executives, with a wealth of legal experience amounting in aggregate to over 450 years.

We are proud to continue our sponsorship of the Mitre 10 MEGA Napier & Hastings MEGA Walk, with this year's event coming up on Sunday 8 November. Proceeds support The Acorn Project Hawke’s Bay, which provides wraparound support for young people aged 12–24 living with cancer in Hawke’s Bay.

Langley Twigg is sponsoring the 3km walk, and we are already planning a few walking meetings over the next month to get the team ready! We will also be manning a water station on the day, ready to keep morale high and thirsts quenched.

Meet Carley Hewitt, our fabulous Practice Manager at Langley Twigg.

While Carley may be a new face to some of our clients, she is certainly no stranger to Langley Twigg. She first joined the firm at 21 and spent 14 years with the team before moving on to build further experience across management, operations and the property sector.

Earlier this year, Carley returned to the Langley Twigg fold, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a strong connection to both the firm and the Hawke’s Bay business community.

No doubt you will see Carley around our offices keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, so be sure to say hello next time you are in.

We are proud to have sponsored the Langley Twigg Taradale AFC team this season, and what a season it has been!

The team won the Central League 2 championship last weekend, gaining promotion to the Central League for the 2027 season. ⚽️

A fantastic achievement, well done boys!

Today we supported Daffodil Day in our Napier and Havelock North offices, a cause close to our hearts, with many of us having family, friends and loved ones who have been affected by cancer.

We enjoyed brightening up our offices with our pops of yellow and, of course, some fresh spring daffodils. Even our furry friends got into the yellow spirit🌼.

To mark the day, we were treated to some cupcakes baked by our talented colleague, Cat. We can confirm they tasted just as good as they looked!

Our team had a fantastic evening on Saturday, getting dressed to the nines in our 30's-inspired attire for Murder on the Napier Express – Snake on the Train at Urban Winery in Ahuriri.

Hosted by Flaming Mojo, we put our detective skills to the test to solve a murder mystery. Luckily, as lawyers, we know a thing or two about gathering evidence!

Congratulations to our winning team on the night, Rosé Rules.

We were also treated to a delicious three-course dinner by the team at Urban Winery, with plenty of laughs along the way.

It was a memorable night and a great way to connect as a team outside of the office.

Langley Twigg is proud to have supported the Mitre 10 Mega Walk over the weekend. Since it began the mitre 10 Mega Walk has raised over $306,000 for the Acorn Project Hawke’s Bay, helping support young people facing cancer. You may have seen our staff out handing out water and lollies or participating in the walk. A big thank you to everyone who supported this great cause.
