Conditions of Visa Cancellation to Foreign Nationals holding Nepalese Visa:
The Department of Immigration can cancel Visas issued to foreign nationals and take necessary legal actions if necessary, in the following circumstances:
• If the visa holder becomes insane or mentally ill;
• If he/she is incapable of producing a health-related international certificate when asked to do so;
• If he/she is found to be fugitive absconding after committing a serious criminal offense;
• If he/she is found of suspicious conduct and involved in uncongenial activities;
• If he/she is seriously ill or suffering from any contagious disease;
• If his/her presence in Nepalese territory threatens national peace, security and harmonious relation among Nepali citizen;
• If his/her presence distorts or makes an adverse impact on the socio-cultural environment of Nepal;
• If he/she violates Immigration laws and any other prevailing laws of the country;
• If he/she is found to be involved in activities other than the purpose for which visa was obtained;
• If the purpose for which Visa was obtained is accomplished.
• Violations of Immigration laws or any other prevailing laws of Nepal are grounds for legal actions including deportation, penalties, and imprisonment as per the nature of the offense.
