IMPORTANT UPDATE: New Zealand

🔹️Student Visa Applications – Missed Intakes (2026):
Some students have not received visa decisions in time for their intended intake. Guidance is as follows:
🔸️Able to start later in 2026: Applications may still be approved in principle, provided all pending requirements are met within the given timeframe.
🔸️ Unable to start until 2027: It is recommended to withdraw the current application and request a refund, then reapply closer to the 2027 intake (around September 2026).

🔹️Funds Transfer Scheme (FTS) Expansion to Nepal:
From 2 April 2026, the Funds Transfer Scheme (FTS), in collaboration with ANZ Bank New Zealand, will be available to Nepali students.
🔸️This initiative aims to simplify financial documentation requirements
🔸️Expected to improve visa processing timelines
🔸️Likely to be required for most students once visa approval in principle is granted
