All stake holders have to work together to keep high standard within Industry.

Country risk asseaament levels are out there now. These risk asseasment levels are depedent on multiple factors for respective country such as:
✅ Visa refusal rates
✅ Visa grant rates
✅ Fradulent documents and data
✅ Student completion data
✅ Student discontinuation rate
✅ Student running for refugee or
protection visa etc

Great work by Bangladesh 🇧🇩 to remain in level 2. All agents and providers friends, please keep up ehical standards.

For India 🇮🇳 and Nepal 🇳🇵, it’s start of new chapter and everyone Australian Government, Universities and Colleges as well as Education agents - have to understand their responsibilities in guiding young generation to become a truely Global citizen by acquiring power of education. Please stop 🛑 onshore poaching, unethical behaviours in terms of bogus or fradulent documentations and assessment of student's abilities to cope up with studies.

Overall, we know there have been tsunami of refusals and unethical rejections. Let's start an effort with honest intention to improve not only future outcomes but also to guide students in right direction.

Australian Immigration and Home affairs has just released error prone risk assessment levels for providers and countries for International student visa sector.

As expected, lot of universities and private higher education providers have slipped to level 2 and some ever to level 3 including universities. Link to check these changes have been given below. While checking if it’s required financial capacity with high risk countries such as India and Nepal then provider is at level 2. If it’s asking for financial documents by choosing moderate or no risk countries such as Bhutan or Bangladesh then it’s in level 3.

My questions here are:
🔥 Should student opt for studies into these universities and colleges simply by following these risk assessment levels?
🔥 Should agent try to use these providers to facilitate visa at any cost
🔥 Is this fair assessment ranking overall where providers and agents have been punished due to mass tsunami of unethical refusals in last 8-12 months?
🔥 Why universities with excellent record such as Murdoch, QUT, Uni New Castle, UNISA etc should suffer with these unfair risk assessment levels?
🔥 Will such faulty assessment standards be good for future of Australian education system?

In my perosn view, a student irrespective of which country he/she is coming to study in Australia should have uniformed assessment process for visa grant? Providers should be judged on basis of quality of delivery, infrastructure in place for students and overalls course success delivery rate for students. Putting out such irrelevant and error prone risk assessment systems is joke with providers,Country as well with students.

Level 1 providers will have advantage of getting fast track result for their student visa application? Someone will argue ohh that’s a great news? Yes it’s great for rewarding providers for their hardwork but at same time, put some real thought process in assessing standards too all together?

You are saying that data is not getting disclosed publicly from our side about ranking and assessment but at same time took is available on HOME AFFAIRS’s website where individually it can be checked and accordingly student visa application process can be played with?

Uniform standard of assessment process is must for maintaining integrity and honesty within system which is missing badly over last 12-18 months. More ethical responsibilities should be shown by Government here towards 3rd biggest sector of our Australian economy. Please don’t spoil things for sake of next year’s election only as in this industry our product is Student’s life and future society which we built by having them here.

Looking forward to more robust system and ethical standards in coming weeks. Mind you, not all changes are bad, there have been lot of excellent ones too.
