On 15th August, Pioneer Law Associates, in collaboration with Young Singapore International Arbitration Centre (YSIAC), had the privilege of hosting an engaging session on 'Practical Insights into the 2025 SIAC Rules and Enforcement of Awards.'
The discussion explored timely issues in Arbitration such as streamlined procedures, protective preliminary orders, enforcement of foreign arbitral awards in Nepal, the new SIAC Rules, and the recent amendment to Nepal’s Arbitration Act 2055.
The panel comprised of distinguished arbitration practitioners and in-house counsels:

• Semanta Dahal – Partner, Abhinawa Law Chambers
• Anushree Pande – Manager (Legal), Surya Nepal Pvt. Ltd.
• Tilak Bikram Pandey – Partner, Pioneer Law Associates.
The program opened with thoughtful welcome remarks from Steffi Mary Punnose and was expertly moderated by Snigdha Bhatta.
The session had more than 25 young arbitration practitioners and law students who brought fresh perspectives and energy to the dialogue. The evening concluded with a networking reception, complete with an arbitration-themed cocktail menu, where the conversations continued well beyond the panel.
