Dark tourism is a loosely defined concept that involves the visiting of places that are associated with some sort of trauma: an area of pain, suffering, torment, or sadness. Traipsing across the globe to a dark tourism location – for example, where historically war, genocide, terrorism, ethnic cleansing, mass murder, war, or an ecological or man-made disaster has occured – may not be everyone’s perfect idea of a holiday.

oday, there are three times as many centenarians living in Norway as 20 years ago. Part of the reason for this is that Norwegians have become better at taking care of their health.

“We have changed how we do things in everyday life,” health director Bjørn Guldvog in the Norwegian Directorate of Health told P4 news.
According to figures from Statistics Norway (SSB), there are currently 1,309 people aged 100 or older living in Norway. That is 857 more than in 2002.
Guldvog believes that part of the reason for this is that Norwegians have become better at taking care of their health. At the same time, the number of older people is increasing. In 2012 there were 736 centenarians, in 2017, it had increased to 945.

The use of commuter housing, severance pay, and reimbursement of travel expenses will be controlled, among other things.
The investigation dates back to 2009 and applies to Storting representatives and their deputies who have attended more than 100 days in the Storting.😀

On April 9, around 100 volunteers helped launch the freshly painted “Havhingsten” in the museum harbor.
Despite cold temperatures and strong winds, it was a beautiful day, and many people had turned up to see the ship being launched. 😃
