At the last BECCLE-lunch of 2024, Marte Dahl Reisæter talked about the Intel-case in relation to her PhD topic about judicial review of complex economic assessments in competition law.

2024 has been an eventful year, and we look forward to 2025 with the BECCLE-conference in June as one of the highlights.

Markedet for elektrisk kraft er i endring. Fossil brensel skal fases ut i Europa, og det er behov for mer fornybar kraft i både Europa og i Norge. Det er ulike syn på hvordan vi bør organisere denne sektoren fremover i Norge. Bør vi fortsatt bruke markedsmekanismen slik tilfellet er i dag, eller bør vi i større grad ha en politisk styring av denne sektorens omsetning?

Bergen Center for Competition Law and Economics (BECCLE) is pleased to announce the eight annual conference on competition policy on 30-31 May 2024 in Bergen, Norway.

This year, the conference will take place at the Norwegian School of Economics. The conference combines invited sessions with accomplished speakers and open sessions with presentations and discussions of original research papers in the fields of competition law and competition economics.

For the open sessions, we now invite submissions of original research papers. Papers should be in the field of competition law and economics. We welcome both theoretical and empirical papers, as well as case studies. Lawyers are especially encouraged to submit papers. Follow the link for more information:
