New 2026 rules & salary thresholds – what employers need to know.

From 1 January 2026, the IND increases both application fees and income thresholds for residence permits, including family migration, study and highly skilled migrants. The salary levels for Highly Skilled Migrants and EU Blue Card holders will also go up, which directly impacts employment contracts and HR budgets.
