We encourage all students living off campus to stay vigilant and be fully aware of their surroundings.

Keep personal belongings and electronic devices safe.
Avoid dark areas and lonely walks especially at night.
Have alternative routes to your various destination incase of emergencies.

PRESS RELEASE

This is to bring to the attention of the University community that reports circulating regarding the death of a female student who was allegedly stabbed and robbed while on her way to attend a night class is null and void. We wish to clarify that, contrary to a false, the student is very much alive and currently responding well to medical treatment.

We strongly urge the public to refrain from spreading unverified information, as such actions can cause unnecessary panic and disturb the peace within our community.

Students are advised to remain vigilant and adhere to all recommended safety measures during their activities, whether on or off campus.

Our thoughts and prayers remain with the affected student, and we wish her a full and speedy recovery.

🔴 Annex Front Gate
🔴 Annex Back Gate
🔴 Overhead Bridge Opposite the Annex Gate

These areas have reported cases of theft, harassment, and suspicious movement — especially at night.

Please adhere to the following:

• Avoid shortcuts and unauthorized routes
• Don’t walk alone in dark or isolated places
• Avoid unknown crowds or individuals
• Avoid using of mobile devices infront of the Annex gate and the Overhead bridge
• Be alert and report any suspicious activity
