Lintel dimensions are not always fixed at 225 mmby 225mm with 4 Y12 bars with 230mm center-to-center link spacing.

Laser values or higher may be required, depending on factors like span and expected load.

It's crucial to understand when to use 3 Y12 bars at the bottom or more if necessary.

Examine the failed lintel in the attached picture to understand the implications.

Remember, not all lintels are the same; each situation may require different specifications.
