A Legal Practitioner.
Who is a Legal Practitioner?
A Legal Practitioner is a person who has the requisite competence and qualifications to render Legal Services in respect to any brief, or who acts for his clients in all matters involving Laws or Legal issues.
What do I need a Legal Practitioner for?
There are various services a Legal Practitioner can render. They include but not limited to the following;
a. Giving of legal advice.
b. Conducting of searches or investigation to confirm the title of a vendor at Land Registry.
c. Conduct Search at CAC (Corporate Affair Commission) to confirm the status of a Company, Business and Incorporated Trustees.
d. Registration/Incorporation of Companies, Business names and Incorporated Trustees.
e. Preparation of Legal Instruments and other Solicitor related transactions e.g Deed of Gift, Deed of Conveyance, Tenancy Agreement, Memorandum of Agreement/Understanding, Partnership Agreement, JV (Joint Venture) Agreement, Hire Purchase Agreement, Franchise Agreement etc.
f. Taking out writ in Court, representing a client in the court.
Consulting a Legal Practitioner does not always means starting up a case in Court, thanks.
