***TAKE IT TO GOD AND LEAVE IT THERE***
My dear friends in Christ it prompted me to share my reflections with you which is centered on "detach yourself from holding unto things that you cannot change". In Matthew's gospel 11:28, It was said, "come unto me all you that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest". Why then do we, after communicating to God about our troubles we still go to bed with them worrying on things that are beyond our control? Let's reason together friends: Ever since you were worried about your life struggles; has it helped you to change it to be better? Think of it! Take them to Jesus Christ, he sees to our troubles. The poor blind beggar Bartimaeus took his blindness to Jesus and never returned home with it. What are your life struggles? Kindly take it to him and leave it there! You will never remain the same.
You may quickly say, Sr. what are you saying? I have prayed, fasted, gone to small and big mountains but my challenging situations remains. Yes! No doubt about that because you prayed but you have not trusted. "Take it to him and leave it there". Don't take it to him and then go home with it. When we take it to him and we later go back with it, the problem remains with us. I am speaking out of experience.
When we pray to God and we have not formed the habit of leaving it with him we are displaying our unfaithfulness towards Him. My dear ones, take it to him and leave it there! Any battle that's bigger than God is not in existence. He beckons on us to bring our distresses to Him and leave it with him.
** If you are battling with sickness, please take it to him and leave it there. Bet me, how the sickness will disappear from your system would be a mystery.
** is your business collapsing? take it to Him and leave it there!
** are you psychologically imbalance? Take it to him and leave it there.
** are you experiencing any form of crisis in your life? Take it to him and leave it there.
** no matter how bad life has turned around for you, please! take it to him and leave it there.
