Hello my peopleis that time of the year again when we g*ther before our maker to celebrate the feast of weeks or Shavuot in Hebrew language.
When the Lord commanded us to count fifty days from the day sheaf of the wave offering is presented before Adonai, which is a day after the Sabbath (first day of Unleavened bread) thou shall present a sheaf of the wave offering and from that day we shall count fifty days(7 Sabbaths/seven weeks) on the fifty day you shall come from your homes with two loaves of bread which is your first fruit,but as counting of day by God which starts from sunset to sunset, so the feast will commence on day 49th evening to day 50th evening. Leviticus 23 v 15 -22.
And this feast is one of the three compulsory feasts, God commanded us that we must celebrate and all should not come empty handed, meaning is one of the special feast for the Lord. Deuteronomy 16 v 16-18.

But come to book of Acts of apostle the word PENTECOST was smuggled in, which brought alot of controversies today throwing away the original name feast of weeks.
Controversy, like ,is the day they received holy spirit,then my question is, which spirit have they been working with since even during Jesus and after his death?.

I know I might be sounding some how but lets look at it this way.....in Greek words Pentecost means fifty, is that why is been attributed or say is same with feast of weeks. This Pentecost is it been celebrated same way feast of weeks is been celebrated? . Is the counting the same? . Those that count or celebrate this Pentecost did they do Feast Of unleavened bread or offer sheaf of the wave offering ?. I believe we know the answer. So how then did we join or believe this Pentecost they are talking about is same with feast of weeks.
