We are pleased to share that our Managing Partner Nnaemeka Egonu, has been appointed as a Member of the Commission of Inquiry into the Traditional Stool of Awka, constituted by His Excellency Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, Governor of Anambra State.
The Commission has been mandated to inquire into the dispute surrounding the traditional stool “Eze Uzu” of Awka, including:
âś…Determining the remote and immediate causes of the dispute
✅Examining the propriety of the dethronement of Chief Gibson Nwosu (“Eze Uzu II”)
âś…Reviewing the selection and installation of Chief Austin Ndigwe
âś…Making recommendations to the Anambra State Government toward a lasting resolution
The Commission is chaired by Hon. Justice Paul Obidigwe (Rtd), former Chief Judge of Anambra State, and comprises distinguished personalities drawn from the bench, academia, traditional institutions, and the Bar.
This appointment is a testament to Barr. Egonu’s unwavering commitment to excellence, integrity, and depth of legal expertise.
