WHY WON'T THE JUDICIARY BE INDEPENDENT LIKE THE LEGISLATURE. A friend in Germany ask me, why all this conflicting judgments both from the supreme Court, Appeal Court, High court. Why will someone who came out third/fourth in an election be declared winner of same election. I paused a little look at him, then I remember as a Lawyer I should be able to give an answer to all question or in such a situation give a suitable reply. " I said the only reason why you get those conflicting judgment is because our judiciary is still under claws of the executive and most judges appointed are card carrying members of one or the other political party.

Then President Jonathan was stoned in Katsina on January 21, 2015, and again in Bauchi on January 22, 2015 and yet again in Yola, on January 29, 2015. Dr. Jonathan ordered his security detail not to retaliate and nobody was shot or beaten as a result. Emmanuel Macron was slapped today in Paris and no one was killed.

My question to you is this: What would have happened if General Buhari was in Jonathan or Macron’s position?
