Had the pleasure of visiting the The first university museum in Nigeria located at the Pan Atlantic University dedicated to facilitate academic interest in art. The architecture of the museum is impeccable and its intricate arrangement is fascinating.
The museum has several categories of works on display — it features various significant collections of historic and contemporary art from paintings to artifacts. It was an amazing experience to see relics of the past from such close proximity.

A Brooklyn museum quest to find the origin of a yoruba Egungun masquerade dance costume worn to honour ancestors and their living descendants stolen seven decades ago from ogbomosho Oyo state Nigeria. The origin of the custom was traced back to the Lekewogbe family from whom it was stolen from. The family permitted the museum to keep the costume because the masquerade had been stripped of it's spiritual forces. This approach Indicates an ethical method of engaging with cultural objects and the history of communities connected to them.
