MEET OUR MANAGING PARTNER: MRS YETUNDE FAWEHINMI
Mrs Yetunde Fawehinmi obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the University of Lagos, Nigeria in 1986, proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Lagos in 1987 where she obtained her B.L (Barrister-at-Law) certificate and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1988. She spent the early part of her professional life practising commercial law in the firms of Obafunke Akinkugbe & Co. (1988 – 1991) and Abiola Morgan & Associates (1991 – 1997) where she was the Head of Chambers. In 1997, she joined the American Embassy in Lagos, Nigeria, distinguishing herself as a Legal Advisor for 3 years.
She relocated to the United Kingdom in September 2000 after qualifying as a Solicitor in England and Wales. Mrs Fawehinmi was a Senior Crown Prosecutor with the Crown Prosecution Service in Cambridgeshire, U.K until June 2014. She left after 13 years of meritorious service to the British Empire. In 2011, our Managing Partner graduated with an MSc (Merit) from the prestigious University of Manchester in Human Resource Management and International Development.
She returned to Nigeria in June 2014 to manage the law firm of Obafunke Akinkugbe & Co, and has been our Managing Partner since then. Read more;
