So many intending travelers to the United States that otherwise would have been eligible for non immigrant visas are being denied because of avoidable errors, such as; (a) use of touts/3rd parties to complete forms, (b) incorrect information on Visa Application Forms etc. There is a serious penalty for misrepresentation on visa application forms and in oral interviews. It is important to adequately prepare for your interview and be very conversant with what you filled out.
Once you sign a form it is your document and it is not an excuse that someone filled it.
It is extremely important to be honest in your dealings while seeking immigration benefits as any information tendered is permanent in the systems and you could be asked the same question years down the road and you are expected to give the same answer or provide perfect explanation for a different answer.
If in doubt always consult with an Immigration Attorney well before you begin the application process for a proper analysis of your eligiblity.
