Most people are not willing to grow with you. They'll ask you why you changed instead of asking themselves why they've remained the same. That's life for you. You're going to lose people as you take the next step to bettering yourself and the hardest part is accepting there's absolutely nothing you can do about it. Breaking generational curses will sometimes require you to walk alone. There will be no one clapping, no one supporting, often times no one even at the finish line. These curses are broken in silence and force you to deal with the person you've been running from.

IGNORANCE OF THE LAW IS NO EXCUSE: Virony Nigeria Ltd may learn the hard way.

Last week, a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos ordered Virony Nigeria Limited, a leading manufacturer of household items and sanitary wares, to stop using the images of Nollywood star Mercy Johnson to promote its products by an exparte injunctive order.
The actress sued the company for violating her intellectual property rights after their endorsement deal expired in October 2022. The court also ordered the SEIZURE and CONFISCATION of all products bearing Mercy Johnson's likeness, as well as the deletion of ANY ONLINE CONTENT FEATURING HER IMAGES, VIDEOS, AND AUDIO RECORDINGS.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS INFRINGEMENT
This ongoing case underscores the crucial importance of businesses being well-versed in the laws governing their operations and adhering to the terms and conditions of contracts, particularly when such contracts involve the use of another individual's intellectual property.
