The day to day affairs of the clinic is run by students under the supervision of practicing legal practitioner. It has numerous activities in which it is carrying on, some of which are; the pre-trial project, the Freedom of Information Act project, the ADR project, interviewing and counseling and a host of others activities to reach out to indigent members of various communities.

…AND THE VERDICT IS IN!

We are pleased to announce that the gavel has finally fallen on The Gloria Arenson, Esq. Internal Client Interview and Counseling Competition.

After two days of sharp listening, thoughtful advice, and impressive courtroom-style counsel on the theme “Use of Land and Theft,” six brilliant teams gave it their absolute best, but only three could stand on the podium:

🥇 TEAM A — Champions!
🥈 TEAM E — 1st Runner-Up
🥉 TEAM B — 2nd Runner-Up

Congratulations to our winners, and to every team that stepped up to test their skills; you all did yourself and the Faculty proud.

A very special thank you to our honouree, Gloria Arenson, Esq., whose generosity in rewarding our winners made this competition even more memorable. On behalf of the NSUK Law Clinic, we deeply appreciate your support for excellence and your investment in the next generation of legal practitioners.

We also thank our amazing clinicians who continue to show undaunted commitment towards the pursuit of justice and promotion of clinical legal education. You all are the real heroes.

DAY ONE OF THE GLORIA ARENSON, ESQ. CLIENT INTERVIEW AND COUNSELING COMPETITION

The Preliminary Rounds of the Gloria Arenson, Esq. internal Client Interview and Counseling Competition kicked off today, 12th August 2026, at the Moot Court, Faculty of Law, NSUK.

Organized by the NSUK Law Clinic (Client Interview and Counseling Department), six teams went head-to-head, testing their skills in client interviewing, legal analysis, and counseling on real-world scenarios themed around Use of Land and Theft.

Participants demonstrated commendable professionalism, empathy, and legal reasoning as they navigated simulated client sessions under the watchful eyes of our esteemed judges.
