Welcome to day 2 of the Juris consult week. We use this medium to thank and appreciate members for turning up yesterday, thank you and God bless you. We will now be moving to the next program which is the "Essay competition"

The essay competition will be a single paragraph argument as to whether or not you agree that a presidential candidate need to have 25% votes in FCT to win election. This essay competition is in honour of distinguish P.D. PIUS & ASSOCIATES hence, the article will be addressed to P.D Pius & Associates, which means all participants must tag the firm in the post made.

After that, the best 3 will be selected for an award of 15,000, 10,000, and 5,000 for the first, second and third place respectively. Submission will be due on 4th June, 2023.

SUMMARY OF ADVOCACY VISIT.

Juris consult chamber started it's week by having an advocacy visit to plateau state high Court on the 22nd May 2023. we gathered at the Law faculty main campus, where we took off to the state high court and had the opportunity to see the newly built and commissioned Court that is not yet in use for the time being. it's not easy to be the first chamber to see it .
We arrived at the Court and all Juris consultants from members to principal partners were shared into groups to witness the Court proceedings, one which bothered on criminal breech of trust and an Appeal. At the end of the Court proceedings, we interested with some experienced practicing lawyers and asked question and got clarification on salient aspects of Law and practice. then we took pictures and took off.

we are glad to announce that Juris week began yesterday in Ernest. with yesterday's advocacy visit to the plateau state High court, we commenced our series of Activities under the week.

through the advocacy visit we have been able to to expose our members to the real and practical practice of the law.

The privilege of sitting in real court and listening to live proceedings and also, getting to interact with practicing lawyers on pressing issues is indeed beneficial to the career lives of our members.

we are looking forward to a happier week celebration.

Cordially invites all juris consultants to her Juris week which is slated to hold from the *22nd* to the *28th* of May 2023.
It's definitely going to be a week of fun and excitement, so get ready and buckle your shoes for an experience like no other because it's going to be lit 🔥 and legally enriching. it's going to be a climax event of the semester, package filled with series of programs and showcasing what we've got as law students of this prestigious chamber and faculty as a whole.
There would be an advocacy visit and a picnic. Woah woah woah woah woah! Hold on a minute don't tell me your satisfied with just this two events? Let me burst your bubbles, there would be a cultural display, where we all dress up to slay in our traditional attires and show case that rich ethnicity of our tribes.
There will be an essay competition and recreational activities like football match, and it won't be bad to know who will be the next Messi or Ronaldo of our time. Indoor games won't be left out, as it will help to arouse an organism to functional activity.
It's going to be educative, interactive, mind-blowing 😲 breathtaking 😮 and quintessential. A time to create and foster great and healthy relationships amongst us. it's going to be the most valuable experience, so embrace your selves for a week like no other. Don't miss out!

The meeting was presided by the vice president of the chamber, @ Luka Saminu
Special apprerance by Amos Caleb Ubale Esq
Opening prayer was led by pelumi
Announcement of appearance according to levels:
100L -members
200L- Associate partners
300L -partners
400L -Senior partners
500L - principal partners

A round of applause was made to the participants of the 100lv debate .
The vice president took the opportunity of addressing the 400lv class over their trial, which according to him was the most disorganized trial ever in the history of juris consult. And also talked about paying of dues, and that there would be series of programs such as advocacy visit and a picnic.

3. Rule against mis-joinder of offenders
4. Rule against mis-joinder of offences.

we then proceeded to Introduction of hundred level students by Amos Ubale Ubale (Deuce) esq

Arewa was gifted a token by Barister Deuce, in recognition of her emerging as best counsel in the last conducted 100L intra chamber debate.
Barister deuce thanked, and encouraged everyone to try and live up to the name, the chamber has made for itself.
The meeting was adjourned by Joy Gandu (Senior partner)

I Trust God that you are all safe and sound at where you are.
this is a reminder of the love,happiness and excellence we share as a family.
i must say that i miss you all, and cant wait for when our world will be healed and we will return to spend the quality time we have always had"
as you spend the break, remember to commit considerable attention to the programs that were scheduled by the chambers' leadership but we have unavoidably abandoned due to the break. the debates, trials, and all of those.
Remember the lions we are and prepare to roar like them to these hyenas when school resumes again.
