The IFMA Global Africa Conference is a transformative and thought-provoking gathering where Facility Management professionals, industry leaders, and policymakers come together to explore technical, leadership, and operational issues shaping the future of the profession.
The Provast Limited team, ably led by our General Manager, Emad Yassin, is participating in this year's conference, currently taking place in Accra, Ghana, under the theme:
“Scaling Up Technology, Talent and Transformation in Facility Management for Developing Markets.”
The conference has already proven to be an impactful platform for learning, collaboration, and knowledge exchange.
The keynote address by Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui, Deputy Minister for Works, Housing & Water Resources, Ghana, set the tone for the event. She emphasised the importance of involving Facility Managers in infrastructure development from the pre-construction stage, rather than waiting until after construction is completed.
She also encouraged Facility Managers to champion innovation, adopt internationally recognised standards, and embrace digital tools. Technology is no longer optional; it has become an essential component of effective and future-ready Facility Management.
It was also a pleasure connecting with distinguished leaders within IFMA, including Engr. Sheriff Daramola, IFMA Nigeria President; Mr. Sampson Opare, IFMA Ghana President; and Mrs. Christa Dodoo, former IFMA Global Board of Directors member.
