Democracy is not a background condition. It is something that has to be chosen, defended, and rebuilt sometimes more than once. For those of us who work in law, that truth is not abstract. The rule of law and democratic governance are the same project. One cannot hold without the other.
At ES+A, we are proud to practise in a Nigeria where our unity in diversity makes us great. We honour the courage it took to cast that vote and the many who have kept its meaning alive since.
