PVC collection: Paul Okoye queries why students are still in school

Nigerian singer and one of the music duo, P-Square, Paul Okoye, has questioned students on why they still remain in school amid the ongoing collection of Permanent Voters Card, PVC.

In a tweet on Thursday, the music star opined that most of the students registered for the PVC in their various states during the prolonged strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.

The singer wondered why they are still kept back in school even as the deadline for PVC collection elapses in the next 10 days.

He wrote, “Out of the 74million youths eligible voters, 26million of them are students and they are all back in school, most of them registered during the ASUU strike…it’s 10days remaining for collection , why are students still in school by now?”

Husband: Babe why are you packing your things?

Wife: I am tired, I am leaving this house tonight. My lawyer will serve you the divorce papers tomorrow.

Please disabuse your mind of this Nollywood fantasy.

Divorce like any other legal matter must first of all be filed in court. A date will be assigned to it where you and the person you are petitioning will come and state reasons why you want the marriage dissolved or not. The matter will take months.

There are also conditions that must be fulfilled before you can even file for divorce.

So if you are one of those who think you can easily get in and out of marriage, think twice(in fact, think a million times).

There is nothing like a gentleman's agreement. Ensure that all agreements are well documented especially when money is involved.

Also, I know you are educated but then get a lawyer to do it for you.
