“Many people are buying property in Nigeria based on hype… not based on future economic growth.” 👀
After spending 3 days at the WAAS event, one thing became very clear to me:
The future of Nigerian real estate will be driven by:
✅ Infrastructure
✅ Transportation
✅ Commercial activities
✅ Urban development
✅ Business expansion
Property appreciation doesn’t happen by magic.
Value follows development. 📈
This is why smart investors — especially Nigerians in the diaspora — must stop buying because “everybody is buying there.”
Instead, ask:
➡️ What developments are coming to this area?
➡️ What businesses are moving there?
➡️ Will this location grow economically in the next 5–10 years?
The investors who understand this early will always have an advantage. 💡
Real estate is no longer just about land.
It’s about positioning yourself ahead of future growth.
What’s one thing you think investors overlook before buying property in Nigeria?👇
