I know you are about to get you your first house. That's lovely! Congratulations in advance!

That's where little research comes in on your part.
Read up on similar homes in the area and find out how much they’ve sold for.
Comparing properties of a similar size and location should give you a price range to negotiate with. Trust me, they are usually within the same price range.
Your offer can be adjusted further by considering other factors such as schools, security (a police station), good road network and so on around the property.
