In the early hours of the blessed day my Princess arrived, just few minutes before delivery, my doctor said to me: Nneoma Congratulations, you are going to be a mother! I have always known I was going to be a mother, even before the actual 9 months of physical manifestation, however, when my doctor said that to me, it dawn on me that there is no going back, this is for real, a whole human being that has been growing inside me, kicking me left, right and center, causing my hormones and body to go through real changes is about to come out into this world and be mine to behold, love & care for.
From the moment I beheld my daughter, my life has never been the same, I can't even explain how my heart pumps this days when I look at her. It is such a rare & divine privilege to be a mother, mothers are entrusted with so much and somehow we juggle them all gracefully & with a supportive partner, the weight is lighter and the journey more Joyous.
I am truly blessed to be called a mother, and I know my heart will melt into a million pieces when my daughter calls me Mummy, we will definitely hit that milestone on God.
