So, over the weekend the Abuja Real Estate Conference happened and it was one event that had over a thousand persons in attendance. From realtors to developers, interior decorators to investors and so many other sectors in attendance, this conference took the vote of MASSIVE VALUE.

2024 was great, 2025 got way better. Big ups to the conveners Raymond Ijeomah and Chukwuemeka Obiazikwor Neo Homes Ltd and of course the amazing teams/units who pulled this off.

Now, let's Thrive already💯

Throwback to my service year aka lounging year.

My experience that year is one I can't forget😂
From Home in Abuja to camp in Kano, then literally whisked away with other corpers to Kano's COVID-19 centre (them talk say we get Covid o!) to fighting depression because I mean, innocent me came to camp. We had to make the best of where we were and only then did we understand that oh, na enjoyment be this o! (The meals, provisions, constant light and Acs, I didn't even get scorched by the sun unless I went to dry my clothes - my skin was skinning) and new friends were made at the centre because na only we, we get.

Fast forward to our RELEASE from the centre back to camp, rush hour documentation to certificate mistake and me having to call my school (Unical) to send my correct result sharp, then the waybill and pickups by amazing brothers who helped me back then, to hiding from parade ground because omoh Kano sun wan tear person head, we started wishing we were still at the centre😂

Camp ended but before it did I had to apply for relocation because no be me that Sun go finish. We said our camp goodbyes, I couldn't get Abuja but Nasawara was the closest and I got to serve there.

Started my PPA in Federal University Of LAFIA, but it was short-lived because Strike happened (I couldn't thank God enough 🤣🤣🤣) and with the new development I started my 2 weeks in Lafia, 2 weeks in Abuja constant ministry, business and lavida trips and boy, it was mad fun.

POP day came, I passsssss out, then went to snap picsureeeeeerrr.

P.S. Now you know I served my country (Abgado Republic😁) inbetween series of drama. I made it because Abba was in every step of the journey😊

Monday had me begin my week as a participant in the SWEDD + ( Sub-Saharan Africa Women's Empowerment And Demographic Dividend Plus) Regional Launch. A project funded by the World Bank in other to provide girls with education, essential and reproductive health services, and economic empowerment, in other to advance progress towards gender equality across Africa. Of course, empowering the Girl Child is empowering the World.

On the flip side, this post is another reminder that as a female, it is pertinent to strive hard in other to empower yourself financially. The truth is the world can just do a tiny quota but the onus is on you to make the difference, and financial empowerment is the key to financial freedom.

Growing up, we all had different dreams we looked forward to accomplishing and while most of us have accomplished them in different stages of life, many are yet to begin the sojourn they so desire. I call it the sojourn of dreams accomplishment 😁

I have accomplished a few and I'm still on that journey, I mean everyone is because the day you stop dreaming is the day you... emmmm! How do they say that adage again? Well, here's a little background story to this post, shall we?

So, growing up I saw real estate come to life in my everyday reality (all thanks to my precious Momma and Grandma) and I experienced every bit of what it meant to be an entrepreneur in the real estate world. I must say it was a roller coaster of events and a fine blend of the good, the bad and the ugly but in all I had a great deal of fun.

From real estate as agriculture and shelter for birds to real estate as shelter for humans who would make your go crazy, to the likes of tenant squabbles, police cases, quit notices, visits to the family lawyer, building maintenance/ tenants complaints, negotiations with agents and clients, real estate sales as bare land, to everything most recently and gradually wrapping up to a lot of peace and quiet back home, I've been involved in every process of it, and boy did I enjoy and marvel at this sector called Real Estate? Oh, yes, verily verily I did.

I loved this sector and looked forward to my own piece of the earth (pieces rather😂)
and although I didn't fully understand the real estate sector, I experienced it unfold in my own little world back in Cally. A few years down the line, and I am here living my dreams in the best possible way. I may not have gotten to the peak of what I have envisioned but I am no longer at the foot of the mountain🙌🏼💃

Over the years, I've learned to never stop dreaming- A little here, a little there will most definitely leave you in awe.
