Position: Lawyer/Associate/Legal Assistant & Senior Conveyancing Clerk

Firm Name: Wong Law Chambers

Qualifications & Requirements: -

1. Lawyer/Associate/Legal Assistant:

- PQE of 3 years and above, experience in full set of Conveyancing (sub-sales).
- Responsible and able to work independently.
- Able to provide status report(s).

2. Lawyer/Associate/Legal Assistant:

- PQE of 5 years and above, experience in company law and contract law. Experience in corporate drafting and negotiation of construction contracts would be an added advantage.

3. Lawyer/Associate/Legal Assistant:

- PQE of 3 years and above, experience in Civil Litigation. Experience in corporate litigation, shareholders dispute, commercial dispute would be an added advantage.

4. Senior Conveyancing Clerk

- Experienced in full set of sub-sales procedures and documentations
- More than 6 years’ experience will be prioritise.
- Responsible and able to work independently.
- Able to provide status report(s).
- Attractive salary (commensurate with experience and capability). Allowance will be offered.

The Ministry of Finance (M*F) said the government has agreed to exempt all types of foreign incomes of individuals from tax, and has also extended the exemption to dividend incomes earned by limited liability companies and partnerships.

Government to reinstate stamp duty cap for share transactions at RM1,000 per contract note, maintain higher rate of 0.15%.

The government will be reinstating the stamp duty cap on contract notes at RM1,000 per contract note, according to a source, marking a change in direction after the previous proposal to remove the cap effective Jan 1, 2022.
