Salam & Prayers for peace.

✅Wish everyone lend your ears and look into “penyuraian” or shutting down Tingkatan 12345 SMK Khir Johari Sungai Petani. This is hot issue in our North and we beg all to help reset the shutting down of the oldest school SK Pusat Sungai Petani built 1912 which later became SMK Khir Johari in 1963.

✅We set up Parent Support Group Sungai Petani or JK Bertindak Penduduk Sungai Petani to help safeguard 1500 places in Tingkatan 12345 at SMK Khir Johari which will be shutdown by the Penyuraian Tingkatan 12345.

✅The ill conceived idea and policy so called Penyuraian Tingkatan 12345 SMK Khir Johari just to put in the Kolej Tingkatan 6 by removing or penyuraian Tingkatan 12345 is unfair to parents and students who are forced out of the school.

✅Sungai Petani needs more schools to accommodate growing population not shutting down of the Arus Perdana Tingkatan 12345.

✅JK Bertindak Penduduk Sungai Petani strongly support the upgrading of Tingkatan 6 into Kolej Tingkatan 6 but protest denying the Tingkatan 12345 students or 1500 places in the school.

✅JK Bertindak Penduduk Sungai Petani calls on all concerned parents and public to rally behind the parent support group or JKBPSP to demand the rights and access of students to Arus Perdana Tingkatan 12345 SMKKJ since 1963.

✅The annihilation of the Tingkatan 12345 SMKKJ is against the interest and welfare of the students, parents and the whole penduduk Sungai Petani.

✅The school which has a long history back to Sekolah Melayu established in 1912, the oldest school in Sungai Petani, must be kept open to all students of Tingkatan 12345 Arus Perdana.

✅YB FS Menteri KPM, please be with the rakyat that holds you high as the Mother of Pendidikan MADANI @ UMMUL MADRASAH MADANI.
May Allah SWT guides us in resetting of Penyuraian Tingkatan 12345 SMKKJ back to default status quo 1963.

✅Please help bring back the laughters of students from Tingkatan 12345 SMKKJ on this auspicious Teacher's Day.

A message from Huzir Sulaiman:

INNALILLAHI WA INNA ILAIHI RAJI'UN
To Allah we belong; to Him we shall return.

Dear family and friends,

I regret to inform you that my father, Dato' Haji Sulaiman Abdullah, passed away peacefully this evening (18 December 2023).

I was present at his passing together with my wife Claire, as well his devoted personal assistant and caregiver Siti Nur Abdullah, supported by Muhammad Hamza, as well as family members and friends.

Despite my father's many health challenges, particularly in the last decade, his sharp mind and dry wit remained unaffected. He continued to represent clients and serve on various committees and advisory panels.

May Allah place my father among the ranks of the Righteous.

The funeral rites will take place on Tuesday 19 December, in accordance with Islamic practice, at the Masjid Jamek Sultan Abdul Aziz, Jalan Templer, Petaling Jaya, at 1.10pm, following zohor prayers.

I will also organise an online memorial service in a few weeks, open to all.

Should the legal community also wish to organise a memorial, I would welcome that.

In the interim, if you have a reminiscence about my father, or a message for his family, please email me at [email protected], and I will forward it to my father's relatives.
