Over 43,000 Rumah Selangorku units completed, handed over to owners

He added that the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) has also completed 3,987 Rumah Selangorku units since the housing policy was introduced in 2013.

β€œThe number of Rumah Selangorku units built by PKNS depends on existing development programmes and is subject to the conditions and approval of the Selangor Housing and Property Board (LPHS).

β€œPKNS’ overall target is to build 10,000 units by 2033, with the remaining 6,013 units currently in the planning stage to be developed in phases across strategic development areas such as Kota Puteri and Cyber Valley,” Borhan said.

STATE housing and culture committee chairman Borhan Aman Shah said that the state is aiming towards at least 60,000 Rumah Selangorku units by the year 2025.

β€œTo date, 109 projects involving 35,606 Rumah Selangorku units have been completed and occupied.

β€œIn terms of housing offers, the Selangor Housing and Property Board (LPHS) has successfully offered 48,407 members of the public the opportunity to own Rumah Selangorku.” He said during the Selangor Property Expo 2023 hosted by LPHS at Central i-City in Shah Alam.

Speaking about LPHS, he mentioned that it not only serves as a policy maker and project monitor but also acts as a special housing developer for affordable housing.

β€œLPHS aims to have 6,347 Rumah Selangorku units built by 2026.”

β€œThe strategic locations for these soon-to-be-built units include Glenmarie, Alam Impian, Pekan Bangi Lama, Pulau Meranti, Kota Warisan, and Salak Tinggi.” He added.
