The work that our Sub-Committee undertake spans two distinct portfolios. The first relates to environment protection and the conservation of our ecosystem. This ranges from raising the environmental agenda among Selangor lawyers to engaging in the public sphere on a broad range of environmental justice concerns. Secondly, we work to promote the awareness and observance of human rights. These inclu

de indigenous peoples' rights, women's rights and the rights of marginalised communities. This portfolio is often closely related to our environmental work. We welcome lawyers, irrespective of seniority, who are interested to serve on our Sub-Committee to contact us. We also welcome NGOs and civil society organisations that are interested in collaborating with us to get in touch.

- An episode to inform the lay person of the web of institutions that have the legal duties to protect & managed the environment

✦ Episode 3: How Easy Is It To Enforce Environmental Rights?

- This episode discusses the complications faced in practically enforcing environmental rights given the complexities of the sources of rights & institutions involved

✦ Episode 4: So What? What Can I Do?

- Concluding episode that explores how the lay person could participate in upholding the law & inspire further interest from the legal community
