[UMCT 2025/2026 TENURE RECAP]

As the 25/26 tenure gradually comes to a close, the UM Constitutional Team reflects on a meaningful year filled with growth, collaboration, and shared purpose.

Throughout this journey, we have carried out various initiatives aimed at promoting constitutional awareness and encouraging engagement within the UM community. Every effort was made possible through the dedication, teamwork, and commitment of our members, alongside the continuous support from those around us.

This tenure has been a valuable experience that strengthened our understanding, built lasting connections, and deepened our appreciation for constitutional principles in practice.

As we approach the end of this chapter, we remain grateful for every opportunity, challenge, and memory shared along the way.

Thank you for being part of our journey.💙💛

[UMCT 25/26: SELANGOR STATE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY VISIT – EVENT RECAP]

On 27 April 2026, the UM Consti Team successfully organised a visit to the Selangor State Legislative Assembly, featuring a special session with Syed Ahmad bin Abdul Rahman Alhadad (ADN Lembah Jaya)

The visit provided participants with a valuable opportunity to gain deeper insights into state legislative processes, governance, and the roles and responsibilities of elected representatives. The session offered practical perspectives that complemented participants’ understanding of constitutional and administrative law.

Participants were exposed to the inner workings of the state legislature, enhancing their appreciation of how laws and policies are debated, formulated, and implemented at the state level.

We would also like to extend our special thanks to YB Tuan Preakas A/L Sampunathan (ADN Kota Kemuning) and YB Tuan Chua Wei Kiat (ADN Rawang) for their support and contribution towards making this visit a meaningful and successful one.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all participants for their active involvement and enthusiasm.
