Some journeys in law are more than just cases. They are stories of resilience, trust, and doing what is right.

We are proud to share a moment with our client, Mr. X whose unwavering persistence reminds us why we do what we do.

From the very beginning, he chose to pursue his rights through the proper legal channels. What started as a civil suit in the Sessions Court resulted in a successful outcome. He was also a remarkable witness, clear, composed, and able to provide strong and credible evidence during trial.

When the matter was taken on appeal to the High Court, he stood firm. Once again, justice prevailed, and we successfully secured a win on appeal.

But as many know, a judgment on paper is not always the end of the road.

Despite obtaining judgment, our client was still denied what was rightfully his since 2023. Yet, he did not give up. With determination, he continued to pursue enforcement proceedings, placing his trust in us to act on his behalf. Through ex*****on actions and sustained effort, the Defendant eventually came forward to satisfy the judgment sum together with costs.

Beyond this case, what we value most is Mr. X’s continued trust and loyalty in our firm across multiple matters. We are so grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside clients like him. One worthy client is indeed a gift ✨

Tomorrow, 11 April 2026, marks 4 years since our firm’s establishment in 2022, as we step into our 5th year.

This milestone feels even more meaningful as we recently secured a win in an interlocutoy application before the Shah Alam Syariah High Court, before YA Tuan Salehan. It was an outcome we did not expect, given the nature and difficulties of such application. Yet, we remained steadfast in our preparation, strategy and conviction in our case.

A little reminder to always believe in your own abilities. Every lawyer has a different style, a different approach and that difference is your strength. Never be intimidated by others, no matter how superior they may seem 💪

Here’s to growth, resilience, and many more years ahead 💜⚖️

⚖️ Third-Party Interference in Marriage

Under Malaysian law, third-party interference in a marriage, may form the basis of a tort action under the tort of enticement or inducement to separation. Such interference may also constitute an office under the Syariah Criminal Offences Act/Enactment. However, while legal provisions exists, in practice, these cases are difficult to prove.

💔 Why is this difficult?
In most cases presented to us, the relationship btw one spouse and the third party is consensual, making it hard to prove enticement, inducement or unlawful interference. In some instances, the interference even comes from family members which further complicates the matter.

To succeed in a tort claim or Syariah complaint, the aggrieved party must provide clear evidence of serious and ongoing interference that directly led to the breakdown of the marriage.

📍Key Legal Challenges
The third party or spouse often argues that the relationship was mutual or that the marriage was already strained or unstable. It is difficult to isolate “gangguan” as the sole or main cause of the divorce, especially when other contributing factors are present.

📝What We Often Advise Clients
You have every right to lodge a complaint with the Bahagian Penguatkuasaan Jabatan Agama Islam under the Syariah law. However, it is crucial to support your complaint with concrete evidence, e.g., photos or videos showing interference, screenshot or messages btw the spouse and third party, hotel or transaction receipts, identity details of the third party

⚠️ A Common Issue we observe
Many clients delay or choose not to report the interference during the marriage out of concern for aib or to avoid exposing their spouse’s infidelity or bad behaviour. Later, these clients often return to us with regret only after the marriage ends, typically when spouse has already gone on to be with the third party, wishing they had taken right action much earlier.

💡Marriage issues are emotionally heavy, but legal rights should be taken and protected with wisdom. Take steps early, if your goal is to save the marriage.

Be smart, not silent. Know your rights. Act with clarity.

A Letter of Demand (LOD) is not legally compulsory, but it serves as a formal legal notice sent by one party to another before initiating formal legal proceedings.

It sets out the facts of the dispute and clearly states specific demands (usually for payment or damages).

While it is not mandatory, a Letter of Demand can carry legal consequences if the recipient fails to respond or comply with the demands outlined in the letter, paving the way for legal action if needed.

⚠️If you receive a Letter of Demand, do not ignore it.
✅ It’s crucial to consult a lawyer immediately and respond appropriately to avoid legal complications.
