Messrs Baru Bian Advocates (BBA) was established in 1992, under the initial name and style of Messrs Baru Bian Advocates and Solicitors. Together with Senior Associate See Chee How, the Firm has gained a

solid reputation in the litigation arena, and remains at the forefront of developing case law. BBA is especially noted for its work regarding native land rights, and various watershed cases which have led to legislative change in relation to land law in Sarawak. The Firm today consists of the Headquarters in Kuching and one branch in Lawas. Primarily in civil litigation, other fields of legal work include industrial and employment law, family disputes, wills, constitutional disputes, as well as various conveyancing matters and drafting of contracts.
