PP v A JANAGAN ACTUTAN

Prosecution withdraws charge against my client.

The Public Prosecutor withdrew the charge under section 500 of the Penal Code against my client when it came up a for full trial on 27 April,2022 at MAHKAMAH MAJISTRET,BENTONG,PAHANG.

The Magistrate,Tuan Shahrul Ekhsan bin Hasim then discharged my client against the charge and ordered the bail amount in the sum of RM 1,500.00 to be returned to my client,forthwith.

My client was originally charged in April,2021 under S.499(punishable under S.500)of the Penal Code at the said Magistrate’s Court for criminally defaming in a facebook posting on 16 February,2019 against one YB KAMACHE A/P DURAY RAJOO,a State Assemblyperson of Sabai in the State of Pahang.

My assistant Pn.Nur Syamimi appeared on 27 April,2022.
