🚨 Travel Update: New Immigration System Trial

From 22 Sept 2025, Malaysia is testing the National Integrated Immigration System (NIISe) in Johor (KSAB & BSI checkpoints).

✅ Current QR system & MyBorderPass still valid
✅ Travellers encouraged to download the new MyNIISe app
✅ Trial runs until 28 Feb 2026 before full rollout (KLIA, Penang, Kuching, KK airports next)
✅ Passport & travel docs still required

👉 Goal: smoother, faster border clearance in the future.

🌴 Dreaming of Malaysia as your second home? It looks like the Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H 2024) programme is finally picking up steam!

After a lot of uncertainty and revisions, more foreigners are applying under MM2H now that rules have become clearer. Yes, the financial and property-requirements are higher than before, but for many, Malaysia’s lifestyle, culture, and property options are still a strong pull. 🇲🇾

🔍 Some highlights:
• Over 3,000 applications since October 2024, ~1,294 already approved.
• 4 tiers (Silver, Gold, Platinum, and SEZ/SFZ) with different requirements and perks.
• Strong interest especially in the Silver and SEZ/SFZ categories. Property investment is boosting the local market.
