Nowadays, domestic violence is not only initiated by husband only, it can either be done by wife to husband, children to parents, mother to children or even adult children. If the children or family members or anyone who have information is able to lodge police report beforehand may prevent this tragedy to happen.
Tolerance do not stop violence, we have to stand up ourselves to stop violence.
Even if we can't help the victim to get out from the toxic situation, the least we can do is be supportive, stop teasing anyone who complaint or suspect that they are victim of violence and propose positive solution to the victim.
