Azwar & Associates, a dynamic and expanding law firm, is seeking an Account Administrator to manage the financial and administrative tasks related to the firm’s operations. If you have a strong background in accounting and administrative duties, especially in the legal industry, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records, client billing, and trust account management in compliance with legal industry standards.
• Oversee payroll, petty cash, and other financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for the management team.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies regarding payments and financial queries.
• Ensure compliance with relevant tax and regulatory filings.
• Coordinate with auditors, bankers, and legal professionals as needed.
• Provide general administrative support to the firm, including maintaining records, filing documents, and other office management tasks.
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience• in an accounting/administrative role, preferably in a legal environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB) and MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Familiarity with legal accounting practices and trust accounts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
