Our managing partner, Loong Caesar, was elected the Chairman of the Malaysia Australia Business Council (MABC) on 20 June 2024. It’s been a daunting task keeping this 40 year old organisation in its position as an important resource centre for the Australian-Malaysian business community. To help build greater capacity and meaning in its mission, the MABC seeks talented administrators to develop a diverse database of research material of interest to those doing business in Australia and Malaysia.

The Malaysia Education Blueprint highlights the need for equity and unity in schools, with the aim of providing education for every child regardless of geography, gender or socioeconomic background. Schools should be a natural setting to foster unity but it’s hard to achieve that in an increasingly polarised society. Can our common goal of national unity truly be realised in schools?

Join the live discussion on the Unity & Equity webinar with Dr Oh Ei Sun, Socioeconomic Analyst, Dipti Kumar, Educationist & CEO, Malaysian Collective Impact Initiative, Jason Wee, Co-Founder, Architects of Diversity Malaysia and Shahril Hamdan, Information Chief of UMNO.

We are looking for lawyers who are able to provide ad hoc and remote law practice support such as reviewing documents, drafting advice and carrying out legal research. They should hold recognised law degrees from a commonwealth university. Remuneration will be on a per project basis or at an hourly rate to be agreed. Lawyers working in this arrangement should be familiar with online legal research and able to work and communicate remotely. The ideal candidate is a lawyer who has worked in a law firm or an in house legal department for several years but has chosen to work from home rather than being engaged in full time employment or a fixed work routine.

Candidates will be free to schedule their work and organised their own resources provided that the required delivereables are submitted on time. All costs and expenses reasonably incurred in the delivery work will be reimbursed by the firm.
