Ending a marriage is never an easy decision. However, if both spouses agree to part ways amicably, the law in Malaysia provides a simpler, faster, and more cost-effective route: Divorce by Mutual Consent (also known as a Joint Petition).
1. The marriage must have lasted for at least two (2) years unless you obtain the court’s special leave.
2. At least one of the parties must be domiciled in Malaysia. (Consult us for Foreign Partner)
3. Mutual Consent.
