So what would be the first you have to consider when buying property?
LOCATION
Just like business location is the first thing you have to look at when buying a property.
There are many factors that play your decision into choosing certain location -
1. Near your workplace.
Although this may change as you may not stick to the same job.
2. Accessibility. To the highway, how many highways nearby, public transportation, MRT, LRT, ERL, KTM, MONORAIL. As you not be able to find a property near your workplace so you to think about the accessibilty to your workplace, how long to commute to and fro.
3. The ambience/environment. Some like quiet place, some like near shopping malls.
4. Surroundings community. You may know already how/what kind of the community around your preferred location. Elderly maybe most of them, youngsters maybe or even expatriates.
5. Used to the area. This would mean you have stayed in the vicinity for quite some time, maybe staying with family or you rent out a place there before and you like it and you are so used to it already that you don't wanna change.

This write up is based on writer's own experience and/or opinion, it may differ from other people's opinion.
So, what to look at when you wanna buy your own place that you call home. I understand it is scary to actually decide to buy your own home, so many things linger in your mind like, can I really commit myself months after months, years after years for the mortgage, is this a good place to buy, is there other place with similar design, different location but cheaper(this actually amongst the make or break your decision) cause everyone will have this 1 friend who would say things like haiyooo why u bought that house I saw 1 so much nice cheaper some more you know, yeah you have heard this many times and you are afraid that you might make the same mistakes like your other friends. Yeah it is not an easy decision to make. What I'll be talking about in here may ease your worries and make it easier for you to decide and not to regret with the decision you'll have to make later. Which at that whatever this particular friend of yours would be saying to you, you can just firmly say, hey I'm happy with my choice.
So what is the first thing you need to look at when it comes to buying your first property or home.
