Mentee
The biggest competition in your Life is WHO YOU WERE YESTERDAY not your friends, not your siblings or people you grew up with, NO! And absolutely not Instagram and TikTok characters!
Wangu, handisi kuku nyepera…
If you continuously compete with other people You will become BITTER ( some people have unfair advantages you can't even match😢😢, BE KIND to your self and accept it, concentrate on your own lane, YOUR TIME WILL COME),
but if you continuously compete with yourself you become BETTER
I grew up in Chitungwiza KuMayambara kwaMhonda near Makoni shops, back then, the place had a rural set up, tichitochengeta mombe dzevamwe nekutamba Chaputa, tichitevedzera pfonda dzese dzairira…
My 1st heart break 💔 was never a girl, it was AMUDHUMENI who ordered our house to be destroyed by a bull dozer…i was grade 6 coming from school, the sight alone when it flashes in my mind i cry 😭, I couldn’t understand hutsinye wa driver but Mudhara anga akavaka asina mvumo pataiti pamba pedu… its life
We moved to unit K, kwa maiguru and stayed tiri 12 one house…story for another day…
My bus driver dad, and vendor mom vaitengesa madhoiri kuti tirarame made a new plan…then we moved ku Location yeku Unit D…imo ku Chitungwiza…
this was an upgrade from kumusha that we adapted to so well kusvika ma sewage asisa nhuwe, yeah it was a normal set up for us.
The upgrade kubva kumusha to ROKESHENI was so big zvekuti i felt so special… you will never understand it, cause hauna kukura munhamo and hauna kumbosangana na Amudhumeni
My dad was a bus driver, i once tried to use the privilege in a Tenda bus 🚌 ndichiti baba vangu ndi Senior driver vanodriver Munhenzva….😂ndakaudzwa zvemukati na conducter…
I always have flashes of my past, but my greatest motivation is I am no longer where i used to be…for that i am thankful to God
I help people because I UNDERSTAND their position i was once there…
When i bought my 1st car, it was a nissan march, i slept in the car for 3 days. Ndaita kurwadziwa kuipa munhu or seeing someone anemadhaka mumota mangu…
Fast Forward, I now employ people whom I have given my company cars. I might not have a Buggati yet, but i am somewhere i wasn’t at, years ago.
Poverty was never GOD’s plan on you,
Stop praying it away…oh even fasting it away… Haiende nenzira iyoyo…
Prayer 🙏🏽 is powerful but it will not do the work for you, it brings grace and it is that grace and hard work 😓 that will move you to another level
Be intentional, make new friends, know new people, hang around vanhu vanemusoro and make efforts to change your status…But be grateful, thank God for where you are today and pray for more grace.
STOP LIVING A LIFE TO OTHER PEOPLES STANDARDS… live within your means and stop bowing down to pressure.
Some even managed to buy a bed, headboard or a phone on their own but they can’t celebrate it because to their friends it is not a win😭…
Wangu, THATs a WIN…
GRADUATING WITH A DEGREE, whether i butchery degree or Medicine, YOU ARE NOW DEGREED!
At my companies I EMPLOY ATTITUDE and train SKILL… what you studied…i do not care…
My own PA is a journalist who studied at UZ…
Most of my Managers Managing my companies some of them have degrees that are not relative to what they are doing.
The creative director at my other company was self taught no degree nothing, but he heads degreed people
If you graduate and get a degree, good for you infact….
Pembera mwana waAmai, urayai mombe nehuku dzese kana zvichiita…celebrate every win nommater how small
More confidence will be built from these wins…DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE the power in celebrating every win!
Kuita mota even yakanzi FIT or ka March is huge WIN… do not be turned into an unappreciative person by fake standards.
What you see today, is a poor young man who had a dream…my companies are my sweat and my self alone, chikumbiro changu would be…never take that effort from me and hand it to others because i know them… it pains me, I NEVER HAD IT EASY…
All said and done…
Your time will come, but it is you who will determine the time.
