In this episode of Ganado Meets Funds, Ganado’s Andre Zerafa, Partner, sits down with Albert Cilia, Managing Director of Trident Trust in Malta and Regional Director for Funds in Europe, to explore Malta’s growing appeal as a jurisdiction for family offices.

From succession planning and multigenerational wealth management to governance, cross-border structures and regulatory stability, the conversation examines how Malta’s professional ecosystem supports family offices while highlighting the importance of long-term partnerships, tailored solutions and collaboration between advisors.

As family offices become more sophisticated and institutional in their approach, the message is clear: long-term stability, effective governance and the right structures are key to preserving family wealth across generations, with Malta’s Notified Professional Investor Fund (NPIF) emerging as a potential solution.
