Can an agency fee become a five-year claim simply by calling it “services rendered”?

A recent judgement confirms that the Court will look beyond the label and examine the true nature of the services. Where those services amount to estate agency work, the 18-month rule applies.

Legal Notice 238 of 2026 establishes Malta’s national framework for the implementation, supervision and enforcement of the EU Cyber Resilience Act, with the MDIA designated as the key national authority.

Importantly, vulnerability and incident reporting obligations are already applicable, while the CRA’s wider requirements will apply from December 2027.
