We are thrilled to report that our Partner, Naranbulag Khukhuu, participated and spoke on the panel entitled “Interaction between Investment Arbitration and Human Rights” at the International Alternative Dispute Resolution Conference hosted by the Thailand International Arbitration Centre in Bangkok last month.

We are pleased that Ms. Naranbulag’s insights and contribution to the panel discussion helped enable a comprehensive understanding of the complex relationship between investment arbitration and human rights. We extend our gratitude to the Thailand International Arbitration Centre for their invitation and look forward to further opportunity to contribute to advancing the field of alternative dispute resolution and arbitration.

The International Alternative Dispute Resolution Week was organized by the Thailand International Arbitration Centre in Bangkok to promote alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration, and enhance access to justice for individuals and businesses at regional and global levels. Supported by more than 10 international arbitration courts and dispute resolution centers, including HKIAC and the Permanent Court of Arbitration, the conference brought together a diverse group of arbitrators, lawyers, and arbitration practitioners from around the world and provided a productive platform for sharing opinions, exchanging knowledge, and expanding networks.

We are delighted to share that our Partner Naranbulag Khukhuu was pleased to serve as a Judge at “The 17th Academic Conference on International Law” organized by the National University of Mongolia School of Law in commemoration of diplomat and international law scholar Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Dr. Khashbat Ludevdorj.

As one of the flagship academic events of the law school, the conference, which was held in English for the first time, brought together the students who are passionate about international law and provided them with an opportunity to present and discuss their research work and scholarly papers on a range of topics from both international private law and international public law spheres.

We are proud of the students who participated in the conference for their outstanding performances, fascinating debates, and creative recommendations as solutions to some of the most pressing issues in international law. Congratulations to the winners, all the participants, faculty and organizing committee of National University of Mongolia School of Law for the successful conference!

We look forward to continuing our commitment to promoting legal education and supporting the next generation of lawyers in Mongolia.

We are delighted to share our Partner Naranbulag Khukhuu being selected as a Young Lawyer Scholar of Inter-Pacific Bar Association along with 9 other international lawyers from around the world attended the 31st flagship Annual Conference of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association that recently took place in Dubai, UAE.

The Conference hosted around 700 lawyers and legal experts from all corners of the globe and featured highly regarded speakers and legal thought leaders to discuss on a variety of legal topics across multiple fields.

Under the program, Ms. Naranbulag visited the Dubai International Arbitration Centre, the Dubai International Financial Centre’s Court and international law firms such as Al Tamimi & Company and Hadef & Partners and attended sessions on legal regimes of Dubai and United Arab Emirates.

Also while attending the fruitful panel discussions and side events of the Conference, Ms. Naranbulag took the opportunity to catch up with fellow international lawyers and exchanged updates on legal issues in their mutual jurisdictions.

We look forward to our continued partnership and collaboration with fellow lawyers, legal practitioners and law firms from around the world.

Congratulations to our Partner Naranbulag Khukhuu for being newly appointed as a International Chamber of Commerce (“ICC”) International Court of Arbitration (Paris)’s Young Arbitrator Forum Representative for North Asia region for its 2021-2023 mandate and representing Mongolia at the ICC YAF for the first time.

Ms. Naranbulag also sits as an Arbitrator on the Panel of Mongolian International Arbitration Center of Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry while practicing and providing advices and representations in arbitration proceedings for our clients at our firm.
