Murder and Terrorism
Surah At-Tawbah, verse 29: Fight those who do not believe in Allah or the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not follow the religion of truth from among those who were given the Scripture - [fight them] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.
Refer to Ibn Kathir's commentary on the Pact of Umar.
Surah Muhammad, verse 35: So do not weaken and call for peace while you are superior; and Allah is with you and will never forsake you. Your deeds
Surah Al-Hijr, verse 85
And We did not create the heavens and the earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming, so forgive with gracious forgiveness.
Refer to Al-Qurtubi's interpretation of the Prophet's statement, and that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
said to them: (I have come to you with slaughter and I have been sent with harvest, not with sowing).
Surah Al Imran, verse 83
Then is it other than the religion of Allah they seek, while to Him have submitted those who In the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, and to Him they will be returned.
Refer to Al-Qurtubi's statement that the Prophet said, "Do not revile my Companions, for my Companions embraced Islam out of fear of God, while the people embraced Islam out of fear of the sword."
Surah Al-Mumtahanah, verse 1: "O you who have believed, do not take My enemies and your enemies as allies, extending to them affection while they have disbelieved in what has come to you of the truth and have driven out the Messenger." And beware lest you believe in Allah, your Lord, if you have gone forth striving in My cause and seeking My pleasure, while you secretly show them affection, and I am most knowing of what you conceal and what you reveal. And whoever among you does that has certainly gone astray.
O you who have believed, do not take as your allies those who ridicule and make a game of your religion from among those who were given the Scripture. Before you, the disbelievers were allies. And fear Allah, if you are [truly] believers.
[Surah Al-Anfal, verse 60] And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows. And whatever you spend in the cause of Allah will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged.
[Surah At-Tawbah, verse 28] O you who Believe! Indeed, the polytheists are unclean, so let them not approach the Sacred Mosque after this year of theirs. And if you fear poverty, Allah will enrich you from His bounty if He wills. Indeed, Allah is Knowing.
When we ask Islam, "Who are you and what is your religion?" they say, "We are the religion of tolerance and mercy," and so on. But when we come to learn the fundamentals of this religion, we find that it is a filthy religion, a religion that spread by the sword, and whose foundation is terror and intimidation. I advise all my Muslim friends to stay away from this filthy religion because I was once ignorant like you, knowing nothing about Muhammad or his mythical Quran. I lived in a nightmare for 24 years, and I know the foundations of this religion. Now I am very relieved, my conscience is clear, and I have escaped that terrifying nightmare.
I know the basics of this religion, but now I am very relieved, my conscience is clear, and I have gotten rid of that terrifying nightmare. Brothers, here are verses about killing and fighting in the Book of God, which He sent to the Prophet Muhammad. I hope you like them.
Refer to Al-Qurtubi's interpretation of the Prophet's saying: "My sustenance has been placed under the shadow of my spear, and humiliation and disgrace have been decreed for those who disobey my command."
Surah At-Tawbah, verse 5: "Then when the sacred months have passed, kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them go on their way. Indeed, Allah is the One Who has sent down the Book of Allah to you, and He is the One Who has sent down the Book ... God is Forgiving and Merciful.
Ibn Kathir's interpretation: Sufyan ibn Uyaynah said, Ali ibn Abi Talib said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was sent with four swords.
Al-Qurtubi's interpretation: This abrogated every verse in the Qur'an that mentions turning away and being patient with harm.
Surah Al-Anfal, verse 12: When your Lord revealed to the angels, "I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed. I will cast into the hearts of the believers..." Those who disbelieve, strike them upon the necks and strike off every fingertip of them.
[Surah Al-Anfal, verse 39]
And fight them until there is no more persecution and [until] worship is [acknowledged to be] for Allah alone. But if they cease, then indeed, Allah is Seeing of what they do.
[Surah Muhammad, verse 4]
So when you meet those who disbelieve, strike [their] necks until, when you have inflicted slaughter upon them, then bind them securely. And either [grant] favor afterwards or As ransom until the war lays down its burdens. That is so. And if Allah had willed, He could have taken vengeance upon them [Himself]. But [He permitted it] to test some of you by means of others. And those who are killed in the cause of Allah - never will He let their deeds go astray.
Surat Al-Fath, verse 16: Say to those of the Bedouins who remained behind, “You will be called to fight against a people of great military might; you will fight them, or they will submit. If you obey, Allah will give you a good reward; but if you do not submit, He will not let you fight.” If you turn away as you did before, He will punish you with a painful punishment.
[Surah Al-Anfal, verse 65]
O Prophet, urge the believers to fight. If there are among you twenty [who are] steadfast, they will overcome two hundred. And if there are among you one hundred, they will overcome a thousand of those who have disbelieved because they are a people who do not understand.
[Surah Al-Ahzab, verse 26]
And He sent down those who supported them from among the People of the Scripture. From their strongholds, and He cast terror into their hearts. A group of them you kill and take captive.
